Acts 4:23-5:16

When the early church faced threats from religious leaders after Peter and John healed a lame beggar, they didn't retreat in fear. Instead, they gathered together and prayed for boldness to continue speaking about Jesus. Their prayer began by acknowledging God's sovereignty and remembering His promises. Rather than asking for the threats to stop, they specifically requested continued boldness to speak God's word. God answered immediately by shaking the building and filling them with the Holy Spirit. This example teaches us that when facing opposition, we should come together as believers and pray for courage to share our faith rather than seeking an easier path.
