Pray with Persistence

Jesus teaches us four essential keys to effective prayer through powerful parables in Luke 18. First, we must pray persistently like the widow who never gave up seeking justice from an unjust judge. Second, we should approach God with humility and honesty, removing our masks like the tax collector who simply asked for mercy. Third, we need childlike faith that trusts completely without trying to earn God's love through performance. Finally, we must identify and surrender whatever barriers are holding us back from fully following Jesus, just as the rich ruler was challenged to give up his wealth.
